Samyra "Sam" Keelin Alba-Danvers is the leader of Voure and the current commissioner of the LAPD. She is the daughter of the now-deceased Jessa Alba, a wealthy celebrity and former leader, and the supreme witch and also victim of Project 4, Cordelia McDwyer.
After her promotion to the detective at the LAPD, Kathlen studied medicine and moved to Seattle to do research at the Grey-Sloan-Memorial. After her long-term relationship with Olivia Cruz and coping with her Chorea Huntington disease, they split up amicably. She came back as captain and later commissioner of the LAPD and married Director of the D.E.O Alex Danvers. In this marriage she brought adoptive son Jarrett, daughter Carmilla and Ellen from her relationship with Olivia. Alex brought daughter Freya into the marriage and together they adopted Taron and Sansa. Most recently, Kathlen and her youngest daughter Toni found each other again.
